FAQs

Here are insights into our process and what we can do for your next cabinet project

The following questions address common customer questions regarding cabinet painting.

It typically costs about 33-50% of what new cabinets would cost. It benefits from being a quicker and simpler process than a full remodel for your space, while providing a completely fresh look.

Most cabinets are worth it at. Even if they are not of the highest quality, it often costs more to remove them, install new ones, and refinish the surrounding areas. Many cabinets are built custom to the space and painting them is always a lower impact solution.

We typically always spray as much as we can off site and in a controlled environment. It's the only way we can guarantee a blemish free finish. We also don't use common trim paints which aren't rated for cabinetry. Every cabinet is cleaned, sanded, primed, sanded, painted, sanded, and top coated. The steps sound simple, but the proper tools and setting allow for flawless execution.

We default to a 1k waterborne system. We can add hardeners or step up to 2k systems if desired. Almost any paint color is available.

We typically only do cabinetry in the winter. In special cases we can make exceptions, but this type of work ties up our best painters for quite some time. We are able to estimate and book any time of year.
