Frequently asked questions

How Much does an Epoxy floor cost for my garage?

A standard 2 car garage can cost anywhere from $4000-7000 depending on surface condition, previous coatings, and other factors.

How long does an epoxy coat last?

It can last several decades indoors. The epoxy can yellow over time if it's exposed to direct sunlight.

Would car cleaning chemicals or oils damage the floor?

No, the inly chemical that could cause any fogging to the surface is glacial acetone left to soak on the surface. Outside of that, its nearly indestructible.

How long does it take to do?

It typically takes 1 to 2 days to do. It depends on primer type and condition of the slab. More hours of grinding can slow the process into the next day.

When can I move back into my garage?

The floor is cured for walking after 72 hours. I would recommend not placing anything heavy on it for at least a week.
