How did you choose your preferred paints?

Experience. We have tried almost everything you can buy and pushed the limits of many of these products. We have found that these manufacturers provide products that consistently perform well for both us and the customer.

What's the average cost to paint an interior?

Every home is different and there is no price per square foot that covers everything. A great rule of thumb is that full interiors cost around 50% more than your exterior would. The only way to really know is to get a quote.

What goes into the cost of my project?

The project is broken down into our labor and materials when it comes to interior work. We only charge for the materials you need and supply firm estimates for our labor costs. Labor costs cover the tradesmen on your project as well as the support they need to be available and effective for you.

Is Kulshan Painting Licensed, bonded, and insured?

Yes, to all three. We carry more than double the legally mandated liability insurance for residential work. We are in possession of a legitimate and current Washington State General Contractors License and carry a bond. All our employees are ensured under L&I.

Who is going to be painting my house?

We only have people from our team on your project. They are all ensured W-2 employees chosen based on character and trained in house. Rest assured we have people work for you who we would want working in our homes.

Do you offer color consulting?

Yes, we do. We can help guide your decision-making making process and give you our wealth of knowledge. We can help identify what colors do and don't work for any space. We have seen a thousand colors on the wall and can advise on popular combinations, undertones, and how to land on a choice that works for you.
